Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Furniture Delivery Driver or Helper, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their furniture safely, efficiently, and with exceptional service. This energetic position combines driving, manual handling, and customer interaction to deliver a seamless experience from Showroom, warehouse to home. You'll be responsible for safely operating various delivery vehicles as a drivers position , assisting with loading and unloading furniture, and providing friendly support to our valued clients. This is out 4 day work week and some out of town is required. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, to deliver furniture to residential or commercial locations Load and unload furniture items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards during route driving Assist with moving furniture within customer premises, ensuring safe lifting practices and proper handling techniques Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and address any questions or concerns Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or digital tracking systems Follow warehouse operations procedures for loading, securing cargo, and completing delivery documentation Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and manual handling Valid driver's license and ability to operate a box truck or van. Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, and safe driving practices. Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and moving tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to lift heavy furniture items safely while following proper lifting practices Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmation, and communication purposes Join us in delivering more than just furniture—bring smiles to our customers' faces through dedicated service, safe driving, and expert handling.
