Duties Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, forklifts, or pallet jacks as needed. Deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses promptly, ensuring accurate and complete deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery questions or concerns. Plan efficient routes using GPS or route maps to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation throughout each shift. Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure the vehicle is always in top condition. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred. Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes, loading trucks, and stacking pallets. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification is preferred but not required. Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles and handling various types of delivery equipment. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Knowledge of route driving best practices, safety procedures, and warehouse operations is advantageous.
