Job Description

Cascadia Pizza Co. is a fast-growing, wood-fired pizza company committed to investing in our people. We're looking for a reliable, motivated team member to help lead operations on our food truck. Each shift begins at our commissary, where you'll load the truck and head out to events ranging from breweries and neighborhoods to weddings and festivals. Kitchen or pizza-making experience and/or truck or trailer operating experience is preferred. The food truck typically operates in North Dallas with Frisco, TX as our home base, traveling up to 60 miles from Frisco. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive directly to designated event locations. Shifts may include both weekdays and weekends; complete shift details and schedules will be published 2 weeks in advance. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Manage accurate food and equipment inventory; ensure proper cleaning, organization, and storage. Set up and tear down the truck for events, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Uphold quality, service, and brand standards in partnership with management. Maintain high food standards by following recipes, managing oven temperature, ensuring proper cook times, and verifying product consistency. Monitor food safety practices, including proper holding temperatures, FIFO rotation, sanitation procedures, and compliance with all local and state regulations. Support ongoing employee training and unit maintenance with the District Manager or Owner/Operator. Lead and motivate staff during shifts while ensuring compliance with company, safety, and sanitation standards. Use checklists and task plans to execute events smoothly from start to finish. Maintain positive relationships with vendors, venue partners, and customers. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record; comfortable driving trucks and towing trailers. Food service or pizza-making experience preferred (food truck experience a plus). Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve guest issues professionally. Ability to use POS systems and handle cash accurately. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (or willingness to learn). Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to stay calm under pressure. Able to lift 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, stand for long periods, and work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
