Weekend Package Delivery Driver - Part-Time SOW Enterprises Inc. is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground and is currently hiring part-time weekend delivery drivers for our Lindale, Texas operation. This position is specifically for Saturday and Sunday . Drivers will be responsible for safely completing an assigned delivery route, handling packages, and providing dependable service throughout the day. What you'll be doing: Safely operate a delivery vehicle throughout an assigned route Load and organize packages before leaving the terminal Scan, deliver, and receive packages according to required procedures Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Use the appropriate delivery codes for deliveries and pickups Work independently while staying on schedule and meeting team expectations Maintain safe driving practices throughout the workday Provide professional and courteous customer service Get in and out of the delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the day

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license Clean motor vehicle record Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Ability to maneuver packages weighing approximately 80-150 lbs., with or without a dolly Comfortable operating larger delivery vehicles; CDL is not required At least 1 year of verifiable employment driving experience within the last 3 years is preferred Must be punctual, dependable, and able to manage time effectively Must be physically able to perform the demands of a delivery route

Schedule:

Part-time Saturday and Sunday Compensation & Benefits:

$130 per day during training $160-$180 per day once driving independently Weekly direct deposit Performance-based bonuses and incentives for reliable, motivated drivers Paid on-site safety and driver training Paid time off Company-provided delivery truck We're looking for drivers who are dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced delivery environment.
