Job Description
Legacy Foods is currently adding a delivery driver with customer service experience to our team team. To be considered for the position, the applicant must meet the following: At least 23 years of age Minimum of 1 year large vehicle driving experience Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) Ability to perform heavy lifting as required Customer service skills Class C license (non-CDL) with a clean driving record Familiarity with warehouse operations Ability to climb safely in and out of the refrigerated box of the truck Experience driving box trucks with both manual and automatic transmissions. preferred Capable of loading and unloading goods accurately and efficiently Can work by yourself or with another driver. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Safely operate box trucks (non-CDL Class C vehicle) with either a manual or automatic transmission to deliver goods to customers. Utilize delivery driver experience to navigate routes efficiently and accurately deliver items on time. Perform heavy lifting as needed to load and unload deliveries. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients. Utilize warehouse experience to organize and manage inventory effectively. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while driving and handling goods. Shift start times vary, but will typically start between 4 am and 6 am each day, Monday - Friday. Starting pay ranges from $10.00-$15.00 per hour (depending on experience). Drivers are subject to a 90 day probationary period.
