Duties Safely operate various Amazon delivery vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling using hand trucks Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to optimize time and fuel consumption Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with a focus on professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction Manually handle heavy items, practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injury during load & unload activities Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each route driven Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or courier services is advantageous Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly while maintaining safety standards Join us in delivering exceptional service while building your career in a vibrant logistics environment!
