As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Day Time Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas. Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and interactions in accordance with site procedures.Minimum Requirements:
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control/badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
