Matt's is hiring Delivery Truck driver. We need CDL certified drivers with a Class C license. You would be delivering goods and materials to local job sites and transfer goods between our stores. We have a diverse fleet of vehicles (flatbed dump truck, box truck, and pick-up truck) that you will drive. This is a full-time position, with 45 hours guaranteed each week with more overtime available. Working 5 days a week. This is a local position so there will be no overnight trips. The driver is responsible for helping load/unload the truck and keep on schedule. We also give commission based on the number of completed deliveries you make. This position requires heavy lifting and loading materials ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours; and pushing/pulling using from 40 - 150 pounds of force, occasionally. It also requires reaching, squatting and bending while delivering materials. Must pass background check& drug test. We also randomly drug test our drivers.

PRIMARY Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to job sites & transport materials between our stores.
• Load/Unload the trucks
• Stay on schedule so we do not get behind on deliveries

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 21 years or older
• Pass the DOT drug test and DOT Physical
• Pass the background check
• Valid CDL - Class C license
• At least 6 months experience of Commercial Driving

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE

• Adhering to all DOT regulations (for example, reading and comprehending documentation or maintaining current documentation such as medical cards)
• Using equipment to hauling loads (for example, operating pallet jacks, using dock plates, or using load bars and straps)
• Operating equipment (pallet jacks, lift gates on trailers, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.
