The Part Time Senior Citizens' Program Driver operates a 12-passenger van to transport the elderly to medical, shopping and nutrition center facilities. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and candidates will be considered as departmental needs arise. Requirements This person in this position must have experience working with the elderly. The person in this position must have a genuine desire to help senior citizens and the ability to get along well with them. The person in this position must understand and be able to apply the latest techniques in assisting passengers in and out of the passenger van. A Texas Driver License with insurable motor vehicle record is required. A criminal background check is also required. Employees choosing this tax sheltered retirement fund contribute 7.50% of their gross income. Contributions to

are made with pre-tax dollars. The money earned by the plan is tax sheltered until withdrawn. Employees who choose

vest in the retirement fund with their first contribution. An employee, upon termination of employment with WCJC, is eligible to withdraw their vested funds from the 403b plan subject to the penalties and terms of the TIAA-CREF and IRS rules concerning 403b plans.
