Job Description
Description The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and products to job sites, events, and all company locations. This role ensures timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities Delivery & Logistics:
- Load, transport, and deliver materials and equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for deliveries and shipments.
- Operate company vehicles safely, following all traffic laws and company policies.
Inventory & Material Handling:
- Inspect and verify all materials before delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signed receipts and inventory logs.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety Compliance:
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and trailers.
Customer Service & Team Collaboration:
- Provide exceptional service and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
- Communicate effectively with the office, warehouse, operations, and installation teams to coordinate deliveries and/or pickups.
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed to support overall logistics operations.
Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in delivery driving, logistics, or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.) safely.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
