Job Description
Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of custom doors, molding, and millwork products to job sites, contractors, and customers throughout the region. This role requires a professional driver with a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Delivery Driver will also assist in warehouse operations roughly 50% of the time to support overall production flow.Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Customer Service- Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including box trailers and flatbeds
- Deliver products to job sites and customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Obtain delivery confirmations and required signatures from customers
- Communicate delivery issues, delays, or customer feedback to management promptly Vehicle Operation & Maintenance
- Perform pre
- and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Load and unload materials carefully to prevent damage
- Maintain clean and organized vehicles and accurate delivery logs Warehouse & Team Support
- Assist in the warehouse when not driving, including staging deliveries and organizing materials
- Support team workflow by helping with general shop tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL not required; CDL a plus)
- 1+ year of delivery driving experience, preferably with construction materials
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and handle long or bulky materials safely
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with local area routes and ability to follow GPS directions
- Forklift experience is a plus
Work Environment:
This position involves driving for extended periods, exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and loading/unloading at various environments, including construction sites. The role also requires occasional use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.Job Type:
