Join Our Team as a Patient Transport Driver! At Cedar Health and Rehabilitation, we're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented Patient Transport Driver to help safely get our residents where they need to go—appointments, treatments, and sometimes back home after a hospital stay. If you enjoy helping others, staying on the move, and being part of a team that truly cares, this might be a great fit. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing You're more than just a driver—you're part of our residents' care experience. Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, hospital discharges, and treatment visits Assist residents with mobility needs (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) Secure wheelchairs and ensure passenger safety at all times Coordinate schedules and communicate with nursing staff and clinics Deliver and return important paperwork and medical records Help with occasional errands (pharmacy pickups, x-rays, etc.) Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready to go Occasionally stay with residents during appointments if needed ________________________________________ Schedule Primarily weekdays during business hours Rotating on-call evenings/nights About 1-2 weekends per month on-call for unexpected transports ________________________________________ What We're Looking For A calm, friendly communicator who can work with residents, families, and medical staff Someone dependable who can adapt when plans change Comfortable driving for extended periods and navigating directions Ability to assist with lifting, pushing, and transferring residents ________________________________________ Requirements Valid driver's license (good standing) Current CPR certification Ability to pass a background and driving record check High school diploma or equivalent CNA preferred (but not required) ________________________________________ Why Cedar Health & Rehab?
