Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate. In this dual role, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods/services to our customers as well as assisting with various warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $20 and $24 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers within designated routes and timelines. Load and unload merchandise from trucks and ensure proper handling to prevent damage or loss. Verify delivery contents and ensure accuracy by matching invoices or purchase orders to delivery tickets. Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and recording any discrepancies or damages. Follow established delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and maximize efficiency. Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and traffic laws. Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet delivery and warehouse objectives. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with local roads and routes. Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans or trucks. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks. Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranging between $20 and $24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits and perks may be provided as per company policies.
