Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for drivers that would like to work part time locally (Southeast Idaho / Northern Utah). The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations. Responsibilities This position is for 20-40 hours per week. Safely transport freight to designated locations while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Manage route driving efficiently to optimize delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Handle automatic transmission vehicle as required. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving a tractor-trailer with refrigerated trailer, and dry vans Familiarity with freight handling and delivery processes. Strong time management skills with the ability to adhere to tight schedules. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
