Lyon Metal Roofing is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team in Radford, VA. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of roofing materials and metal panels to residential and commercial customers. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining our reputation for dependable service.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load, secure, and transport metal roofing materials to customer sites. Operate company vehicles, including flatbed trucks, in compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards. Plan efficient delivery routes to meet customer schedules. Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each trip to ensure safe operating conditions. Assist customers with unloading materials as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork. Communicate with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and any issues. Follow safety protocols when handling materials and driving.

Requirements:

Clean Driving Record. Prior experience operating flatbed trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with local delivery routes in Virginia. Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 70 lbs). Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
