Job Overview:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of product delivery in support of the Sales Team, internal team members, and our customers. This role is primarily a driving position, running the Northwest VA cross dock route and servicing customer deliveries on the return trip, with occasional support of warehouse duties as directed by management. Primary responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of a non-CDL 26' box truck or flatbed vehicle while ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers. The Delivery Driver will provide fast service, demonstrate strong customer service skills, and assist in warehousing and required transactional activities as needed. This position also supports operational continuity across the VA-West network and will be required to travel, including overnight stays, to Harrisonburg and Winchester to cover routes when drivers in those locations are off.
Schedule and Training:

Standard schedule:
5:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. ?
Training phase:
2-4 weeks at a schedule of 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. before transitioning to the standard schedule. ?
Required travel:
periodic overnight travel to Harrisonburg and Winchester, VA, to cover routes when drivers in those locations are off.
Key Responsibilities:
? Operating the Northwest VA cross dock route and delivering products to customers on time on the return trip, while providing an elevated level of customer service. ? Communicating and escalating any delivery delays to customers and warehouse management. ? Processing of materials; loading onto and off large motor vehicle. ? Operating a non-CDL 26' box truck or flatbed vehicle; forklift operation with proper training and certification and other material handling equipment as needed. ? Providing coverage in Harrisonburg and Winchester, including overnight travel, when drivers in those locations are off. ? Supporting warehouse efficiencies and cleanliness of the work area. ? Actively participating in and supporting other warehouse activities such as cycle counts, picking, packing, and putaway as required by management.
Position Requirements:
? Ability to pass a DOT physical. ? High School Diploma or GED equivalent. ? 2-3 years customer service/warehousing experience preferred. ? Previous experience in the Electrical Industry and/or inventory management is a plus. ? Ability to lift, move, stack and stock products up to 50 lbs.; occasionally performs the same activities weighing up to 70 lbs. ? Ability to drive a non-CDL 26' box truck or flatbed vehicle. ? Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required. ? Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight stays, to Harrisonburg and Winchester, VA as needed.
