Key Responsibilities:

Last-Mile Logistics:

Safely operate heavy-duty delivery vehicles (P1000s and 26ft box trucks) for local and regional routes.

Route Optimization:

Follow assigned schedules while utilizing your knowledge of Norfolk/Hampton Roads roadways to ensure efficiency.

Safety First:

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DOT compliance).

Customer Experience:

Act as the face of FedEx Ground, providing professional service and handling goods with care.

Daily Operations:

Manage delivery logs, confirmations, and equipment (hand trucks/scanners) to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of professional delivery experience preferred (Amazon, UPS, or similar courier experience is a huge plus).

Driving Record:

Valid driver's license with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).

Physical Stamina:

Must be able to lift, move, and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs (with provided equipment).

Efficiency:

Ability to handle high-volume routes ( 160+ stops per day ).

Compliance:

Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screening (
