Our warehouse is based out of Richmond, Virginia, and drivers will report there for their assigned routes. The position involves completing approximately 12-16 residential delivery stops per day. The driver will work alongside a helper, so you will have assistance with deliveries, moving appliances, and installations. Responsibilities Report to our Richmond, VA warehouse for assigned routes Safely operate a delivery truck and complete assigned daily routes Complete approximately 12-16 stops per day Deliver household appliances to customers' homes Assist with loading, unloading, and safely moving appliances Install electric appliances only, including items such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and electric ranges Gas appliances, dishwashers, and microwaves are drop-off only and do not require installation Work together with an assigned helper throughout the route Properly secure appliances and equipment inside the truck Complete required delivery paperwork, photos, and documentation Communicate professionally with customers and the dispatch/operations team Protect customers' homes and property during deliveries and installations Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area Requirements Valid driver's license Clean driving history Must be able to pass a background check Must be able to pass a drug screening Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English for safety instructions, customer communication, delivery paperwork, and installation procedures Experience driving a 26-foot box truck is strongly preferred Appliance delivery and installation experience is preferred Must be comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and moving heavy appliances Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow a daily delivery schedule Must have good communication and customer service skills Must be able to work well with a helper as a two-person delivery team Must take proper care of company equipment and customers' property Compensation 1099 independent contractor position $170 per day Paid weekly Driver keeps tips earned on deliveries We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment. Experience with final-mile delivery, appliance delivery, furniture delivery, or 26-foot box trucks is a plus.
