As a Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Specialist within PNC's Retail Data Solutions & Delivery organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, or Philadelphia, PA; Cleveland, or Brecksville, OH; Wilmington, DE; Tyson's Corner, VA; or Washington, D.C.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and technically curious Portfolio Analytics & Strategy Specialist to join our Retail Data Solutions & Delivery team. This role will support the development, delivery, and optimization of data-driven solutions that enable strategic decision-making across Retail Banking and related business functions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with technical proficiency in modern data technologies and cloud-based platforms. This individual will collaborate with business partners, product owners, technology teams, and stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, support data initiatives, perform testing activities, and drive continuous process improvement. Candidates should be comfortable translating business requirements into data solutions while leveraging emerging technologies such as Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools.Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working with large and complex datasets to support business decision-making.
- Proficiency with: Python, PySpark, or AWS
- Familiarity with at least one programming language and software development concepts.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience identifying business challenges and recommending data-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, frameworks, or cloud-based technology platforms.
- Experience gathering, interpreting, and documenting business requirements.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Proven experience executing and documenting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience with: Generative AI tools, GitHub, and Copilot
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Banking, Retail Banking, Consumer Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech experience.
- Experience with Python (Preferred), Spark (Preferred), Hadoop & Teradata environments.
- Experience with enterprise-scale data warehousing solutions.
- Exposure to data engineering, cloud analytics platforms, and modern data architectures.
- Experience supporting analytics, reporting, and data transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with data governance, testing frameworks, and data quality controls.
- Experience working within cross-functional Agile delivery teams.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Master's Degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- PhD and no prior professional experience required.
