The Mount Mansfield Unified Union School District is seeking Part Time Van and School Bus Drivers to join our Transportation Team! Our Drivers are essential to our students, family and community in providing safe and efficient transportation in the towns of Richmond, Jericho, Underhill, Bolton and Huntington. A CDL is required for bus driving, but we offer paid training! No experience required. Responsibilities Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students to and from school and related activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers, including children with special needs. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding any issues that arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for bus drivers - will train! Experience driving school buses or similar vehicles preferred but not required Ability to work well with children and provide a safe transportation environment Customer service skills to interact positively with students and parents
