Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination. Load, unload, and secure merchandise using proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and build positive relationships. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging retail store experience and sales skills. Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper procedures. Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day.
