Wheel repair shop looking for a qualified candidate for our pickup and delivery position. This person is responsible for operating our newer midsized dodge van or GMC pickup truck to travel a different route daily where they will pick up wheels that need repair and deliver repaired wheels. Generally, you'll be driving to different body shops or car dealerships. Starting wage is $20 for someone with no experience, potentially more DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate the company vehicle to both pickup and transport wheels to and from designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo safely, candidates must be able to successfully lift and negotiate up to a 60 pound wheel with tire for short distances.
• Follow schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate pickups and deliveries.
• Verify the locations and delivery documents to ensure accuracy of deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any delivery-related issues.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred but not necessary
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks
