Jeremy's Chicken is hiring two drivers to tow and position our 21-foot food trailer and handle local supply runs. Applicants must have hands-on experience towing and backing a trailer of comparable size. We're looking for drivers who make sound safety decisions, follow established procedures, and can reliably get to Lynnwood for short shifts. Schedule Our schedule changes weekly, and we publish shifts approximately one week in advance. A workday may include separate morning and evening shifts. Some shifts may start early or end late, and weekend work may be needed. Please consider whether the commute and changing hours will work for you before applying. Responsibilities Inspect, hitch, tow, back, position, and unhitch our 21-foot food trailer. Move the trailer between our Lynnwood base and a nearby operating location. Follow our checklists and procedures for trailer movement, vehicle checks, supply runs, and reporting. Recognize safety or equipment concerns, stop when necessary, and contact the appropriate team member before proceeding. Run local errands and transport supplies between our commissary and food trailer. Load and unload supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Arrive on time and communicate promptly about schedule, equipment, or delivery issues. Required qualifications Hands-on experience towing and backing a trailer comparable to a 21-foot food trailer. A valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle and trailer combination. A driving record that meets our safety and insurance requirements. Final candidates will be asked to authorize a driving-record check. Good judgment when handling unexpected situations, with the ability to follow established processes rather than improvise around safety requirements. Ability to reliably reach our Lynnwood location for scheduled shifts, including early mornings or late nights when needed. Ability to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Experience with commercial trailers or food trailers is a plus. Pay and benefits $26/hour for trailer assignments, including inspection, hitching, towing, backing, positioning, and unhitching. $22/hour for errands and supply runs, including transporting supplies, loading and unloading, and other assigned work. Tips in addition to hourly pay. Tip amounts vary by shift. Meals during eligible shifts and an employee discount. All assigned work time is paid.
