Position Description The Filter Service & Delivery Specialist is a field-based role responsible for the accurate preparation, delivery, and installation of paint booth filtration products to Garmat's customer locations. Operating primarily on the road across an assigned service area, this specialist ensures that customer sites receive the right filters, cut to specification, delivered on schedule, and installed correctly every time. In addition to route and delivery responsibilities, this role serves as a professional point of contact for customers in the field, communicating findings and needs as they arise and representing Garmat's commitment to quality and service. The Filter Service & Delivery Specialist plays a foundational role in keeping customer paint booths operating safely and efficiently between full preventative maintenance visits Essential Duties
- Accurately measure, cut, bag, label, and replace filters per customer site specifications
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of filters to assigned customer sites in accordance with scheduled routes
- Accurately maintain filter and supply inventory at customer sites and, where applicable, at the Garmat facility
- Initiate resupply requests when inventory levels require replenishment
- Maintain company vehicle with required tools and supplies in a clean, organized, and road-ready condition
- Adhere to assigned delivery routes and service schedules consistently
- Communicate findings, needs, and relevant observations to customers and team members professionally and accurately
- Display a high level of professionalism during all customer interactions and while representing Garmat in the field
- Wear all required PPE properly, follow all required safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow work injury and reporting process
- Safely lift, carry, and handle filter products, grating, and related materials as required by the role
- Accurately document all service and delivery activity through the company mobile application
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Preventative Maintenance Manager Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail; ability to accurately measure, cut, label, and track filtration materials
- Basic inventory tracking and supply management skills
- Proficiency with a mobile application for work order documentation and delivery tracking
- Professional verbal communication skills for direct customer interaction
- Ability to manage a scheduled route and prioritize tasks to meet delivery timelines Preferred
- Prior experience in a delivery driver, field service, or route-based role
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities services environment
- Familiarity with paint booth filtration systems or similar products
- Experience with Automotive/Industrial Paint Systems Physical Requirements This position involves significant manual labor and requires the ability to perform the following physical activities:
Manual Dexterity and Repetitive Motion:
Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and upper body movements and maintain fine motor control necessary for tool operation, equipment adjustments, and material handling throughout the work shift.Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, and Pulling:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 80 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.Reaching and Mobility:
Ability to reach overhead, above shoulder level, and below the waist; walk continuously throughout the facility; and regularly bend, stand, kneel, crouch, and stoop for extended periods.Climbing and Elevated Work:
Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work at elevated heights while maintaining balance and stability.Tool and Equipment Operation:
Ability to safely and proficiently operate small and large manual and powered tools required for assigned tasks.Driving and Vehicle Operation:
Ability to operate a company vehicle for extended periods, including long distance travel; must be able to sit for prolonged durations, maintain sustained attention, safely navigate varying traffic and weather conditions, and load and unload tools or materials as required.Environmental and Weather Exposure:
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate exposure to industrial noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and other industrial conditions.Use of PPE:
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including safety glasses, gloves, steel or composite toe footwear, hard hats, respirators, or hearing protection for extended periods.Hearing:
Ability to hear and respond to verbal instructions, warning signals, and equipment alarms in a industrial environment with varying noise levels.Vision:
Ability to maintain close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment necessary to safely operate equipment and inspect materials.Closing Statement:
