Full Job Description Job Summary:
Bridgeport Place Assisted Living is seeking a responsible and compassionate Part-Time Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to ensuring the well-being of our senior community.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, recreational outings, and other scheduled activities. Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the community vehicle. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle. Communicate effectively with staff and residents to coordinate transportation schedules. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Provide a friendly and respectful experience for all passengers.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record . Ability to pass a background check . Experience working with seniors or individuals with mobility challenges is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to assist residents with walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids as needed. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
