Delivery Driver Lake Country Sales and Rentals

POSITION SUMMARY

The delivery driver supports our summer rental operations by transporting pontoon boats, golf carts, and related recreational equipment to and from customer locations. This role ensures timely, safe, and professional deliveries while providing a positive customer experience during peak seasonal months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Delivery & Pickup Safely transport pontoon boats, golf carts, and rental equipment using company trucks and trailers Load, secure, and unload equipment following proper safety procedures Deliver equipment to lakes, cabins, resorts, and customer properties Perform basic pre‑delivery checks to ensure equipment is clean, fueled/charged, and ready for use Customer Interaction Provide friendly, clear instructions on equipment operation and safety Assist customers with questions during delivery and pickup Communicate delivery windows, delays, or special instructions as needed Operational Support Assist with staging, organizing, and preparing rental units Help move equipment around the lot and support general shop or yard tasks Coordinate with rental and service teams to prioritize daily delivery schedules Report equipment issues or customer feedback to management

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with towing trailers, boats, or equipment strongly preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Comfortable backing trailers and maneuvering in tight spaces Ability to lift, move, and secure equipment Strong communication and customer‑service skills Familiarity with pontoons or golf carts a plus, but not required Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced summer environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Outdoor and on‑the‑road work throughout the Hayward area Frequent lifting, equipment handling, and trailer maneuvering Weekend and holiday availability during peak season
