Job Description

Flexible weekday hours | Company vehicle provided We are looking for a dependable, professional person to help keep our shop and field crews supplied with the parts, materials, and tools they need.

Early morning hours:

6AM would be typical start time, 4 days a week to start. This is a part-time position primarily consisting of picking up parts and supplies from local vendors and delivering them to our shop and active jobsites in the Oshkosh/Fox Valley area. Most days will be approximately 3 hours, although hours will vary depending on workload. This could be a great fit for a semi-retired tradesperson, experienced delivery/parts person, or someone looking for flexible part-time work. Must be 18 to apply. Responsibilities Pick up parts, materials, tools, and supplies from local vendors Deliver materials to our shop and active jobsites Load and unload the company vehicle Verify that the correct materials and quantities are picked up Communicate with shop and field personnel regarding pickups and deliveries Handle materials and company equipment carefully Keep the company vehicle reasonably clean and organized Occasionally assist with simple shop or material-handling tasks as needed

• Additional responsibilities include shop organization, cleaning, re-stocking. Vehicle cleaning/ detailing, and transportation occasionally. Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable and punctual Applicant should be comfortable with driving large work vans and trucks Able to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs. Comfortable entering and working around active construction/trades jobsites Safety-conscious and aware of equipment, vehicles, crews, and changing jobsite conditions Professional and courteous when dealing with vendors, customers, and our employees Able and willing to work in different weather conditions Able to work independently and follow pickup/delivery instructions Plus if applicant knows how to perform light maintenance on vehicles and trailers and equipment (trailer bearings, grease fittings, etc.) Construction, trades, maintenance, warehouse, parts, or delivery experience is preferred but not required Schedule This is a flexible part-time position. We anticipate approximately 3 hours per day on many weekdays , with hours increasing or decreasing depending on workload. Applicants should be comfortable with a schedule that may vary from week to week. Company Vehicle A company work truck will be provided for deliveries. It is an older work truck, so applicants should be comfortable driving and taking care of work equipment. No smoking or vaping is permitted in company vehicles. What We're Looking For More than anything, we're looking for someone dependable who uses good judgment. If you understand how to safely work around jobsites, can communicate clearly, take care of equipment, and can be trusted to get the right materials to the right place without constant supervision, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay:

$18
