Summary:
This position will help with the final inspection process of Large Line (CP's and TB's), Small Line (TK's and MM's), incoming chassis, and rework confirmation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install test instruments (test fixtures, gauges, flow meters) using basic hand tools Complete required test documentation Trouble shoot hydraulic system and components Final inspection of all newly manufactured product Prepare rework reports for manufacturing and Quality Assurance Manager Weighing and road testing of truck mounted machines Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications:
3-5 years manufacturing, mechanical, inspection experience or 1-3 years hydraulic experience Able to understand and use Metric system Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics Must have own set of basic hand tools High school diploma or equivalent Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (will train for this if necessary) Good communication skills Flexibility with overtime hours is required
Education/Certification/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required - minimum Class B Mandatory safety training (see "Total Compliance Management" program) On-the-job training
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. The noise level in this environment is frequently loud. Ability to continuously stand or walk; and the ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of the shop.
