Buzz Food Service is looking for dynamic individuals to join us as Delivery Drivers. These individuals should enjoy organizing, maintaining good records, have a clean driving record and enjoy working in a team atmosphere. Qualifications References are required Applicants must possess a valid Driver's license and safe driving record. A CDL is not required but preferred. Ability to read, understand and carry out written instructions in English Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds or more throughout shift Previous experience in a warehouse pick/pack fulfillment and distribution environment or as a truck driver is preferred Ability to pass a drug screen is a condition of employment Verbal communications skills to adequately communicate any order and delivery updates to office staff and sales team Responsibilities Responsible for picking/pulling/building/shipping orders for delivery Load trucks for daily delivery Follow designated route given by Operations Manager to deliver products Effectively manage invoices and inventory on delivery truck to ensure successful delivery of all parts in saleable condition Working at a fast pace, lifting to 80lbs, and climbing in/out of delivery trucks repeatedly throughout the day Operate vehicle safely using safe driving techniques taught and promoted by Buzz Properly maintain vehicles through daily pre & post-trip inspections Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to safe lifting techniques and personal protective equipment policies Arrive to work on time and ready for the day Assist in Buzz warehouse when not actively on delivery routes Other duties as assigned Benefits Competitive pay PTO is available 401K with company match Health, Vision and Dental Insurance Weekly pay Employee discount on delicious meat and seafood products
