Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and possess the necessary skills to handle various delivery tasks efficiently. Must be at least 21 yeas of age and have a reliable vehicle to make deliveries in. Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns during the delivery process. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize warehouse experience to assist in organizing inventory and preparing items for shipment. Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required during deliveries. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary to facilitate loading and unloading processes. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills to ensure efficient deliveries. Experience in warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is a plus. Proficiency in operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
