Fishing Captain Overview We are seeking an experienced and responsible Fishing Captain to lead our fishing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong marine navigation skills, extensive local knowledge of the beach and surrounding waters, and the ability to oversee all aspects of fishing trips. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage vessel operations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and an enjoyable experience for clients. Duties Operate and navigate fishing vessels safely and efficiently, utilizing expert marine navigation skills. Lead fishing excursions, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and maritime regulations. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the beach area and surrounding waters to identify optimal fishing spots and navigate local conditions effectively. Oversee crew members, assign responsibilities, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations onboard. Manage vessel maintenance, inspections, and compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with clients to plan trips, provide fishing guidance, and ensure a memorable experience. Monitor weather conditions and environmental factors to make informed decisions during trips. Keep detailed logs of trips, catches, and vessel maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience as a Fishing Captain or similar maritime leadership role. Strong marine navigation skills with familiarity in local waters around. In-depth knowledge of the beach area and surrounding waters for effective route planning and fishing strategies. Valid maritime licenses or certifications as required by local regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to manage crew members effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Ability to operate vessels safely under various weather conditions.
