We're looking for experienced, safety-focused Tour Boat Captains to join our team and help us launch this exciting improved operation. The ideal candidate will enjoy being on the water, working with people, and creating safe, engaging, and memorable experiences for our guests while showcasing the natural beauty of the Loxahatchee River.

Position Responsibilities:

Safely operate passenger tour boats on the Loxahatchee River (24-48 passengers) Conduct guided sightseeing and eco-tours for park visitors and guests Provide friendly, professional customer service throughout each tour Share information about the river, wildlife, natural environment, and history of the area. Conduct required vessel safety checks before and during operations. Follow all company, park, U.S. Coast Guard, and State of Florida safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming vessel. Respond appropriately to changing weather, water, and operating conditions. Assist with basic vessel and equipment care and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Represent our company and the park in a professional and courteous manner. Required Qualifications Valid U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (Captain/Master) appropriate for the passenger vessel being operated. Must meet all applicable U.S. Coast Guard and State of Florida requirements for operating a passenger vessel. Must maintain all required licenses, credentials, endorsements, certifications, and documentation. Strong boating and navigation skills. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to safely operate a vessel while carrying passengers. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and professional.
