Role:

You will be the Captain for our 18-passenger snorkel boat, leading both daytime snorkeling tours and nighttime Manta Ray snorkel tours. As the Captain, you are responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, ensuring every guest has a safe, memorable, and incredible experience on the water.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate our 18-passenger vessel for daily snorkel tours out of Keauhou Bay Captain daytime reef snorkeling tours and exciting nighttime Manta Ray snorkel tours Provide professional, friendly, and engaging guest service while maintaining full command of the boat Ensure strict compliance with all US Coast Guard regulations, safety protocols, and company policies Perform pre-trip vessel inspections, maintenance checks, and post-trip procedures Work closely with our crew to deliver exceptional snorkel experiences for our guests Navigate Hawaiian waters with expert knowledge of local conditions, currents, and marine life

Requirements:

Valid US Coast Guard Captain's License (Master 25 GT or higher

REQUIRED

) - Near Coastal or Inland waters endorsement required Minimum 1 years of recent captain experience operating small passenger vessels (preferred) Clean USCG record and excellent safety record Strong knowledge of Hawaiian waters, especially the Kona Coast Comfortable operating vessels in both day and nighttime conditions Excellent customer service skills and a genuine love for sharing the ocean with guests Ability to swim and be comfortable in the water Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in a marine environment Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings (night Manta tours)
