Overview Join our team as a US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) Captain. In this vital role, you will oversee vessel management, ensure maritime safety compliance, and lead crews guests through daily charters along the Kona Coast. Captaining daytime 2-Tank scuba diving charters and night time manta ray charters with divers and snorkelers. Your role will include efficient vessel handling and following safety procedures while maintaining strict adherence to USCG regulations. Responsibilities Operate our dive vessels in accordance with USCG regulations and maritime safety procedures, ensuring safe navigation and operational integrity on memorable charters for our guests. Lead and manage crew with positive communication and teamwork to achieve operational goals. Oversee basic vessel maintenance including daily engine inspections to ensure optimal vessel performance. Maintain logs of vessel operations, safety inspections, crew management activities, and compliance documentation aligned with USCG standards. Experience Maritime industry experience with vessel operation, management, and navigation is a plus, but not a prerequisite. Experience operating Newton Dive vessels a plus but not a requirement.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR HOLD A CURRENT US WORK VISA.

Strong understanding of USCG regulations governing vessel operation, crew safety protocols and maritime security procedures.
