Hybrid Job Description Key Responsibilities Vessel Maintenance:
Coordinate with ship captains and chief engineers to identify maintenance needs and schedule regulatory inspections.
Project & Contractor Management:
Manage contractor selection, negotiate contracts, and oversee repair work, including dry-docking and out-of-service periods.
Financial & Administrative Control:
Monitor budgets, develop cost-analysis sheets, create purchase orders (POs) and work orders (WOs), and approve requisitions.
Procurement Support:
Work with warehouse personnel and buyers to dispatch spare parts and purchase necessary supplies.
Policy Implementation:
Help develop preventive maintenance plans and ensure adherence to engineering procedures and policies.
