Chief Officer (C/O) | Offshore - Multipurpose

Job Description

Set sail as extra Chief Officer on an offshore multipurpose vessel with OSM Thome in the United States. Take a key role on deck and bridge, supporting safe navigation, cargo and deck operations, and leading the deck crew. Project requires the successful candidate to have Anchor Handling / Towing experience - 2 years minimum Key responsibilities: Assist the Master in safe navigation, watchkeeping and ship handling Plan and supervise deck and cargo operations, including mooring and anchor handling as applicable Lead, train and organize deck crew for daily work and drills Oversee maintenance of deck equipment, safety gear and lifesaving appliances Ensure compliance with company procedures, SMS, and international regulations
Requirements:
Valid Chief Officer license (STCW) for offshore / multipurpose vessels Relevant sea time as C/O on similar tonnage Strong experience in bridge watchkeeping and deck operations Good command of English, written and spoken Fit for duty with valid medical and required offshore certificates
