Job Description
We're looking for an experienced, USCG‑licensed Boat Captain to lead our dolphin and eco‑tours on the beautiful waters around South Padre Island. You'll be responsible for the safety of the vessel and guests, while delivering an engaging, fun, and memorable experience on every trip. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities :
Safely operate and navigate our tour boats in local waterway.Ensure the safety of passengers and crew at all timesProvide friendly, informative narration about dolphins, local wildlife, and the surrounding environment.
Follow USCG regulations, company policies, and local guidelines for passenger vessels.
Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements :
Valid USCG Captain's license with coverage for passenger vessels.1-3+ years of experience operating tour boats in coastal or near‑shore waters. Strong knowledge of local waterways, navigation, and weather patterns. Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to interact warmly with families, seniors, and first‑time boaters. First Aid / CPR certification preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.What We Offer:
