Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of vehicles including flatbeds, tow trucks, forklifts, and other commercial vehicles to transport goods and equipment. Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling procedures. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues early and coordinate repairs with mechanics when necessary. Utilize mechanical knowledge and manual transmission skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle problems and ensure optimal performance. Manage conflict situations professionally with customers or team members, maintaining positive relationships at all times. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities. Assist with special tasks such as operating forklifts or tow trucks as needed for specific load requirements or recovery operations. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of traffic laws and safety standards. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely. Experience with automotive repair processes and familiarity with flatbed, tow truck, or forklift operations. Excellent customer service skills to represent the company professionally during interactions. Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety compliance.
