Overview Join our dynamic team as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver and take pride in delivering essential freight with energy and precision! In this role, you'll operate tractor-trailers across local routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly while providing excellent service to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced drivers who thrive on route driving, load & unload tasks, and handling various types of freight including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and more. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated local routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or manual methods, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or roll-off trucks Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal delivery schedules and maintaining timely deliveries Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, utilizing appropriate equipment for different freight types Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record Proven experience operating tractor-trailers in a commercial driving environment, including delivery driver experience Skilled in driving manual transmission trucks with a strong focus on safety and precision Familiarity with handling various freight types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods when necessary Knowledge of route planning and navigation for local deliveries within the region Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and customer teams effectively Join us as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver and be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence on every mile!
