Job Description

Position Summary:
Drivers assist in transport of purchased equipment, parts, or other items to associated customers or delivery locations in a safe and efficient manner. This may also include store to store transportation across any of the Capital Tractor locations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Safely transport, deliver, and pick up equipment. Assist in yard maintenance (mow grass, wash equipment, stack wood pallets, etc). Keep watch on trucks and trailers. Notify management of maintenance needs. Daily pre-check on all hauling equipment Maintain clean driving and drug records.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to drive safely. Attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure delivery is carried out efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
Operating motor vehicles. Prolonged periods of sitting in a motor vehicle. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

No supervisory responsibilities - 0 direct reports.

Hourly, non-exempt
