Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of different types of trucks, including roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and tankers. The Truck Driver will ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain the integrity of the freight being transported. Duties Operate various types of trucks including roll-off, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and tankers. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Handle manual transmission vehicles proficiently. Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of safety. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with operating various truck types including roll-off trucks, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and tankers is preferred. Experience in loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving and freight transportation.
