CDL-A Driver - Local & Over-the-Road Delivery Cullman Towing & Recovery | Cullman, Alabama Cullman Towing & Recovery is seeking a dependable and professional CDL-A Driver to join our team. We are looking for an experienced driver who takes pride in operating equipment safely, delivering excellent service, and representing our company with professionalism. This position may include a combination of local and over-the-road deliveries , depending on company needs. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while maintaining communication with dispatch and management. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles requiring a Class A CDL Transport and deliver equipment, vehicles, or other assigned loads safely and efficiently Complete local and over-the-road deliveries as assigned Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections Properly secure loads and ensure cargo is transported according to applicable regulations Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and instructions Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Keep assigned equipment clean and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Provide professional and courteous service while representing Cullman Towing & Recovery Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) Acceptable driving record Previous commercial driving experience preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and safe driving practices Ability to safely secure and transport assigned loads Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and problem-solving skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to meet all applicable DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing, and other employment requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for a driver who understands that safety, dependability, and professionalism are essential .
