Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will help keep our supply chain moving seamlessly, providing excellent service to our clients and supporting our company's growth. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate and efficient delivery routes ensuring cargo is secured properly according to logistics cargo handling standards Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Manage delivery documentation accurately, including bills of lading, manifests, and inspection reports Maintain communication with dispatch teams regarding route progress, delays, or issues encountered during trips Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols for truck loading/unloading Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely Experience with GPS navigation systems and logistics cargo handling procedures Strong understanding of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and delivery schedules Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
