Job Description
TopGrade Excavation is seeking a reliable, safety-focused
- CDL Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver
- to join our team. In this role you will safely haul aggregates (sand, gravel, stone, recycled materials, etc.) and other construction materials to job sites and customers. You will operate a tri-axle dump truck, perform pre
- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate records, and deliver materials on time while representing the company professionally. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport aggregates and materials to customer locations and job sites.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Load and unload materials properly, ensuring correct weight distribution and secure loads.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and records in compliance with
DOT/FMCSA
regulations.- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, pit personnel, and customers regarding schedules, routes, and delivery status.
- Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and site-specific rules.
- Assist with basic equipment or yard support tasks during slower periods as needed.
- Keep the truck clean and presentable.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Valid
- Class A or Class B CDL
- (Class A preferred) with air-brake endorsement.
- Experience operating a
- tri-axle dump truck
- strongly preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.
- Clean or acceptable MVR (driving record); must meet company insurance standards.
- Strong commitment to safety and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to the reporting location.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday (with possible overtime/weekends as needed).
Pay:
$18.00- $25.
