Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Duties Operating tractor-trailers. 20', 40', and 45' containers. We are primarily in the intermodal space. Transport freight to designated locations while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Manage route driving efficiently to optimize delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Be able to operate within APM Terminals of Mobile, and the surrounding container depots. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred but not necessary. Previous experience with route driving and navigating various road conditions is beneficial. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position. Eligible or already have TWIC Card.
