Job Description
Halsey Foodservice is currently seeking to hire a full-time, local Non CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. This position does not require Class A CDL, however the ideal candidate should have the desire to obtain one and have a career in transportation. Qualified applicants must be able to handle fast paced, physically demanding work, and repeatedly lifting objects and must be very customer oriented. Must have a clean driving record.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Delivery experience.
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops.
- Able to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift.
- Must have a keen focus on safety.
- Must be respectful of others, and able to verbally communicate.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and work as scheduled.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical & background check.
