This position is responsible for safely transporting, loading, unloading, operating, and hauling construction equipment and materials to and from our various jobsites. The ideal candidate is an experienced CDL driver who is comfortable around heavy construction equipment, understands jobsite safety, and takes pride in keeping equipment and materials moving efficiently. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport construction equipment, materials, and supplies to and from jobsites Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment in accordance with safety requirements Operate construction equipment as needed on jobsites Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers Properly secure equipment and loads for transportation Assist with loading and unloading equipment Coordinate with project superintendents and field crews to ensure equipment arrives where and when it is needed Maintain a clean and safe truck, trailer, and work area Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies Complete required delivery, inspection, and vehicle paperwork Travel between jobsites as needed Perform other construction-related duties as required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean and safe driving record Previous experience hauling construction equipment preferred Experience operating construction equipment preferred Ability to safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and dependable Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew
