ABOUT F.T.M. FREIGHT F.T.M.
Freight (From the Mud) is a growing transportation company based in Prattville, Alabama. We are looking for a dependable, experienced Class A CDL driver to operate our dedicated company-owned day cab. This is an opportunity for a serious driver who is looking for consistent local work, reliable equipment, home time, and a company that values communication, accountability, and hard work. We are not looking for someone who simply wants to fill a seat. We are looking for a dedicated professional driver who will take pride in the equipment, communicate effectively, show up consistently, and represent F.T.M. Freight professionally.
WHAT WE PROVIDE F.T.M.
Freight provides the equipment and operating support needed for the position, including: Company-provided day cab 10-speed manual transmission Consistent local loads Local routes Home in time / local schedule Hourly compensation Fuel Fuel card Commercial insurance Permits and operating-related expenses Maintenance and repairs Plates/registration as applicable Dispatching Load coordination Quick-pay options where applicable Direct communication with company ownership/management A professional working environment
DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected driver will be responsible for: Safely operating the assigned Class A commercial motor vehicle Completing assigned local routes and deliveries Following all applicable
FMCSA/DOT
regulations and company policies Completing required inspections and paperwork Maintaining accurate hours-of-service records Communicating with dispatch regarding delays, deliveries, mechanical concerns, or other issues Performing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Reporting mechanical problems immediately Keeping the truck clean and presentable Protecting company equipment and cargo Arriving to work and assigned loads on time Maintaining professional communication with customers, facilities, dispatch, and management Following all safety procedures Complying with applicable drug and alcohol testing requirements Representing F.T.M. Freight in a professional manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have: Valid Class A CDL Minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience Dedicated commercial driving experience Experience operating manual-transmission equipment preferred/required for this position due to the 10-speed truck Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate/Card Ability to successfully complete required DOT drug and alcohol screening Ability to meet applicable

IMPORTANT
This opportunity is structured as a lease-on / independent-contractor opportunity as applicable to the final legal and operating structure of F.T.M. Freight. The final classification, compensation arrangement, and contractual terms will be documented in the applicable agreement and onboarding paperwork.
Pay:
$1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
