Driver The Driver is responsible for providing dependable, safe, and timely scheduled transportation for residents. Resident safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being are the highest priorities at all times. Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities, outings, and other destinations in a timely and responsible manner. Confirm daily transportation schedules and communicate any changes, delays, or concerns appropriately. Operate facility vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures and all applicable state and federal regulations. Maintain clear and professional communication with residents, families, staff, healthcare providers, and members of the community. Promote positive resident relations while representing the facility's standards for quality care and service. Maintain a positive, courteous, patient, and professional attitude at all times. Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization while promoting a positive company culture. Follow established safety and emergency procedures, including procedures related to fire, missing residents, accidents, and other emergencies. Protect resident confidentiality and handle resident health information with integrity and discretion. Respect and uphold residents' rights at all times. What We Expect From You The ideal candidate will have the ability to safely operate facility vehicles while following established policies, procedures, and applicable transportation regulations. Candidates should be able to work with elderly residents in a courteous, compassionate, and friendly manner while demonstrating patience and respect. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The Driver must demonstrate sound judgment, dependability, professionalism, integrity, and discretion when caring for residents and handling confidential information. Knowledge of fire safety, missing-person procedures, and other safety and emergency procedures is preferred.
