Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team with our Amazon Relay Contract. Amazon routes are round trip and time sensitive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes dropping and hooking trailers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills . If you have experience in route driving and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Also with this position as a driver you will be home at least 4 nights a week. We request that you have a minimum 2 year of overall driving experience with a clean MVR. Duties Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly before transport to prevent damage during transit. Experience Proven experience as a truck driver is preferred. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of local traffic patterns is beneficial. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
